About Chipped Limited
We are a Karori based, fully mobile, windscreen repair and replacement company owned and operated by Hayden & Jade Balfour. We service the wider Wellington region as far north as Plimmerton and Upper Hutt. That's right, we come to you! Whether you are at home, at work or somewhere fun. Not only that, but you can expect great service, because it's our business to care!
Jade has 9 years experience in the glass industry. Along with her previous customer service and administration roles, she was trained in carrying out windscreen repairs. Hayden has done all sorts - automotive parts sales, carpet cleaning and repairs, as well as managing a painting company with 26 staff. After our move to Wellington, and hearing absurd stories about windscreens "needing" to be replaced when they could have been repaired, it seemed like a no brainer. We brought our skills together to create Chipped, and it has been a pleasure to have such great support from people all over Wellington. Using one of the leading global brands in windscreen repair equipment - Esprit - we can have your windscreen integrity restored in around 30 minutes.
After completing our first year of operation, and to meet the growing demand we had for replacement services, our brother Jordan brought his 8 years of auto glass experience to the team. Thanks to that, our mobile services include windscreen and auto glass replacement. Teamed with one of the leading aftermarket auto glass suppliers in the country and building strong relationships with many second hand suppliers we strive for quick turnaround to get your auto glass replaced as quickly as possible and at a reasonable price. Most importantly, we offer exceptional customer service.

They managed to get the new windscreen in overnight despite shortages over the holiday period, then came to our home to replace it the following day. They booked us into the service centre for recalibration later that afternoon and they made the insurance piece super easy. Highly recommend!
