I bought a dress on sale for $59.00...the fabric was so bad, it pilled after 2 handwashes. ..I took it back to the owner who expressed no awareness of the consumers rights ie selling an inferior product...argued with me...refused to examine customer rights...very disappointing. ..will not visit again and will share my poor service...

Ling Li needs too brush up on her 'Govt Law' as she terms this ie Consumer Law.. You have one month to cancel refunds from this store.. However Ling Li wasn't aware of this.. I cancelled my lay-by within 5 days of initially placing product on layby.. I knew what my rights were as a consumer in what I could do to request my refund.. Ling Li declined as it was her policy. No policy was in view nor given.. After much discussion w Ling Li, I left the store without the refund.. I then revisited 2 days later once again requesting my refund. Ling Li began to insult me and became professionally unprofessional in her customer service skills. Ling Li believed that she was in the right.. she offered a credit note however I declined as I said I would not be returning to her store.. I suggested if she could refund the amount backtoo too my card.. She refused as she was adament that a credit note was all she was going to offer and that was her policy, however there was no policy nor did I receive one..Without further ado, I once again left the store without the refund.. Following morning I did my own research and retrieved further consultation w our community professionals.. I retrieved consumer information and revisited the store again.. The information pointed out that a consumer had one month to retrieve their refunds back.. Unbelieveably, this lady was still in denial mode. I left once again without the refund.. The following morning, I received a phone call from Ling Li as she decided to finally return the refund!! The issue caused unnecessary stress upon myselfand time.. There was no apology from the owner of the store.. What a mess.. He behaviour throughout this ordeal was appalling and mentally draining.. You cannot make up your own policies just because you think it suits you.. These are our laws and this is how we operate in our country.. One would that you would have known about our consumer law but you obviously didn't.. Disappointing to say the least.. Hope this does not happen too anyone else.. I won't be shopping at your store again ?
