Project: The applicant sought resource consent approval to store and manage hazardous substances (Classes 2, 3 and 9) as per the rules within the Operative Manukau City District Plan 2002. The applicant proposed to utilise the existing purpose built warehousing building with storage and office facilities. Land-use consent was required as under the Hazardous Facilities Screening Procedure, all activities with an effects ratio greater than 1.5 in this Zone are classed as discretionary activities. We undertook a qualitative risk assessment to support the application and gained written approval from all affected parties. Resource Consent was granted in 2012.

We have paid them for the services but now we have to find someone else to address the problem and seek second opinion on council's questions. Not very customer focus, and unprofessional when it comes to after sales services.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried to get a meeting with CLC to discuss engineering design work I needed for an alteration as they designed the home originally. Was told quite blatantly that they didn’t do what I needed. Asked them again to make sure as it was clearly engineering and not any other consultants area of expertise. Got a reply that they wanted to look at architectural plans. Sent them the plans but then said they needed proper plans. Sent them the same plans again and asked for a fee proposal. They replied saying quite batlantly again that they were booked up till Xmas and couldn’t do the work. Xmas was only 6 weeks away so not a long time to wait really. Even though I wasn’t in a hurry for the design and after Xmas would’ve been fine they didn’t even give me the option. I was completely put off by then. How you guys have been around this long I have no idea but maybe you hold out for just the cushy well paid council jobs?
