★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great coffee, excellent food. Pastries and cakes baked on the premises. It's a favourite of ours since the make over/rebranding. Great service (very busy though as good expect for a good place) highly recommended. Take away is good and served in ECO containers as a bonus!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Columbus coffee is situated inside of a Mitre 10. It's a cafe that sells more major items of food such as kumara salad. I ordered a small portion and a bottle of Pepsi. The wait staff were pleasant and it was about 5 or so minutes before my microwaved portion of kumara salad was delivered.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A hidden gem of a cafe in Upper Hutts Mega Mitre 10 behind the rail station. Has great coffee and tasty breakfasts, brunches and lunches. I can recommend the eggs Benedict with salmon and spinach. Deserts are also good as is the service. You should note most hot meal services stop between 2 and 3 pm.

The food is great, I'm gluten free and always manage to get delicious food. The scrambled eggs are beautiful and creamy and such a variety of sweet treats. Today I had an iced peach tea with sparkling water so refreshing on this hot day.
