Coffee was atrocious. Remade and still bad. Staff lacked basic customer service skills however the woman behind the counter was friendly. Tables and chairs too close to fit a stroller through. Food was ok. Scones were amazing with a generous portion of butter hence the one star.

Coffee was Superb and the cake selection exceptional. Recommend the Blue Berry Muffin with custard (heated) ??

One of my favorite cafe's in Hamilton. Has ample, easy access parking. I like the interior/exterior design, lots of sunlight and nice polished concrete floors, free unlimited Wi-Fi, nice coffee, food and friendly service.

Visited the cafe at Mega Mitre 10 Ruakura. Asked for two English Breakfast teas with an extra pot of hot water. That was $9. My hubby got a raspberry custard scone. The teas were brought to our table - 2 teacups, 2 small pots of tea, only 1 milk between us and a tiny uncovered jug of hot water. I said to the waitress 'when I asked for extra hot water, I meant another pot' as most/many cafes do this. The woman serving us replied 'we don't normally do this'. Wait. What? Why not? I thought. Then finally she brought out the pot of hot water. Still just one small jug of milk for two. Miserable! My hubby started eating his scone which was so dry he couldn't continue. So he went up to the counter and asked for butter. 'We don't normally do this' was the same trite reply. Are you serious? She gave him the butter but it was rock hard and no knife was given to spread it with. Perhaps if he'd asked for a knife he would have got the same old excuse: 'we don't normally do this'. The only thing the tiny jug of hot water was good for, was melting the hard butter by sitting it on top! We really felt like the staff at the cafe couldn't be bothered the day we visited. Might go elsewhere next time.

Horrible coffee. Burnt and otherwise tasteless.

A fantastic cafe with really polite and genuinely welcoming staff. The food is wonderful and good value - my favourite being the coffee and walnut cake, and is reasonably priced compared to other cafes. The outside seating in the garden centre is a real bonus and the coffee is really first-class. My new favorite cafe in Hamilton!

Was okay.. Quite expensive for what you get. Best part was the garden dept seating and birds wondering around, I feel like there must be more on offer in the garden city

Not really happy with the serving size and the price. The paleo bowl is good but is 20$. The salmon bagel which used to be 9$ is now 14.5$. With shredded pieces of beetroot. Previous one used to b much better. Egg Benedict 19$ as well. kids egg n toast is 9$ . Total bill 81$ with 3 coffees. Highly expensive for a 3 adult n one 1 kid breakkie..
