β β β β β Needed to get laptop screen replaced, service provided by Computer Help was professional with a quote being provided promptly and efforts made to locate required parts quickly, the repairs were then completed quicker then expected with laptop back before the weekend

β β β β β Being a direct repeat customer of Computer Help NZ, and an indirect customer for over 12 years, I called Computer Help NZ this morning to arrange for a very small job to be done on my new Laptop, was told to bring it in and was there within the hour, only to be told after I arrived, that there was "A Note" on my file and that they would not be able to do any work for me.
Apparently this stems back from 2019 when I had them at home to fix some connection issues, which they never successfully fixed, so naturally I asked for the invoice amount to be reduced accordingly, as the service they agreed to provide, (after I explained what the issue was on the phone before the in-home callout) was not provided, they reduced their invoice and I paid my bill on time.
Rather stunned to be turned away at the door this morning especially after being advised on the phone that it would be ok to bring the laptop in, considering the amount of recommendations that I have provided friends, family and business contacts over the years, this situation is very insulting to say the least.
I even arranged and purchased a new computer and software through you guys for my father who's in his mid 80's a few months back, (wasn't an issue serving me then) and he is still waiting for the ongoing issue that he reported to you to be fixed.
Maybe some focus on Customer Service, Professionalism, and Customer Loyalty would benefit, I feel the responses your have posted against your negative feedback lack ownership and accountability - no doubt there'll be more excuses why the ball was dropped in my case as well.

β β β β β I chose Computer help as they were recommended by a reputable online site as being very good, very prompt and excellent customer service. I was surprised at how quickly they got back to me having diagnosed the issue with my laptop as well as providing me with some great recommendations about how I could improve how the laptop runs. A couple of months later my laptop went into spasm again and I was grateful for the timely response from the technician. I agreed to their recommendation and noticed the improvement straightaway when I got home. The new drive has certainly made a difference and I am grateful for the work done and the gracious way in which it was communicated to me
Having already utilised Computer Helps services previously I had no hesitation in reusing them when an error message came up on my laptop. It was good to hear that they had met this before and were able to rectify the issue. I was impressed with the call I received both to let me know what was going on and then when I picked up the laptop - to give me further detailed information about the problem and what they had done about it.

β β β β β First up, a local street address that you can check out. Next, a website that shows the people doing the work, and you can see them when you go to the office after an initial friendly phone contact. Then the office itself, which is intimate (not industrial, faceless or slick), clean and efficient, with welcoming staff. All this builds trust, which was well-placed: the job was done quickly, with intiative (solution found I hadn't expected), and at a reasonable cost. Thank you guys.

β β β β β Very impressed with the communication I received throughout the process. Honest advice provided so I could make an informed decision on how to proceed. Each person I dealt with was professional, polite and avoided or explained any jargon terms. Cost was reasonable and did not appear inflated. Repair was successful and I have been informed they will follow up next week to check in that everything is going well. Will be recommending them to friends and keeping their details for my own future computer repairs.

β β β β β The team at computer help rescued my sons lap top contents after he had dropped yet another lap top. The gave us same day service and saved his study life in the process. Following this they recommended next steps for this lap top and gave him recommendations on a replacement if he chose that route. We appreciated the break down of costs and the clear recommendations as well as fast service. When we had a follow up issue with a new battery this was dealt with promptly andcfree of charge. We always use these guys, they are local and very helpful.

β β β β β I took my Dell laptop in for checking and , if required, fixing a battery charging fault. The problem was remedied and a health check carried out to improve the computer performance, Very pleased with the battery diagnosis and unit replacement and the added tasks to bring the computer back to as new performance. Paul rang to discuss the work carried out, reason for and benefits and also advised on ways to improve the machines longevity. All this was documented in the tax invoice. Recommend this firm.
