Poor consultation, inappropriate conversation, brushing hair wet without conditioner, I had to stand face forward over the sink to rinse front foils because full head of foils took 3 hours to put in. After saying at consultation and at start of appointment that I wanted an ashy blonde I was turned stone grey. I was also told to expect my hair to be purple for a wee bit once I went home. When I expressed concern at the colour I was told it will go blonde. I have been lightening my hair for years and never had any of these experiences before. When I cried I was told that they would stay till midnight to fix it if necessary (the last thing I wanted after being there 5.5hrs). They offered to remove the grey which I accepted but that also took the colour out of my brown foils and left them ginger. I was super disappointed and crying and literally had to tell them I just wanted to go home. Before I left they started asking me what my idea of ash blonde was because they saw it as grey - a conversation they should have had at the start of the appointment not the end. Now my hair feels awful after being lightened, toned and stripped and it's got ginger stripes.
