★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My daughter took me here on Saturday night (05-03-22) for dinner, first time ive been there. The decor is amazing - it reminded me of how things were when I was a kid. The sevice was great. I ordered the fish meal and it was delicious. The chef was awesome. Only one thing I noticed could be improved and that is I think the staff should have uniforms, but that is just my personal opinion. I will definitely be going back again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Having just arrived in Martinborough, I wasn't sure what we were in for.
Sure, it's a wine town, but that means different things around the world, so I didn't want to be too high in my expectations.
But after dinner at Cool Change all of my expectations for the region are going to need to beat that very high bar.
The gnocchi was spectacular.
The fish was good, but the lamb was exquisite.
So much bette than the wall paper would have allowed me to expect.
I loved the art, and the kitsch vibe, but I really didn't enjoy the wall paper.
The service however was brilliant. Casual banter and lots of fun, but still perfectly on point.
Can't rate her highly enough!!
Perfect for the venue and a real asset to the team.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have just spent the weekend in Martinborough and this was the only establishment that we entered that gave us a warm welcome. The staff were great. Andrea in particular was incredible and is an asset to the business. I own a beer and wine bar in Auckland and appreciate the service that she gave us. Keep treating each customer as special and worth your time. It makes a difference. We came back more than once.
