★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Underwhelming for such a highly-rated restaurant in a prominent part of town. Tried to order this morning but stood at the counter for 5 minutes with no sign of any staff. Decided to sit myself outside but no one came out so decided I would have a look around town and come back later, as we’d never eaten here before. Got served the second time (success) and decided on the bacon and egg butty, which I thought was good value at $12 but it was just two slices of cheap white bread with bacon, a fried egg and HP sauce in between — like you would make at home on a Sunday. There’s better brunch options down the street.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bit of a wait but the food was so delicious it was worth it! Good portion size. 3rd time dinning there haven't been disappointed. Would be 5 stars if not for the wait but probably just staffing reasons as last time that was no issue and service was outstanding.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A surprisingly upmarket menu, not your usual pub, so don't be fooled by the basic look. We had dinner at the bar with the same menu as the restaurant and food came out quickly. We had the French cheese melt with garlic confit bar snack (absolutely outstanding) and the seafood linguini and roast peach salad for mains, which were both delicious. Not the cheapest option but worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had lunch here today. Cannot speak highly enough of the total experience. The setting was fantastic and the food was delicious. Then there was Monica who served us. She was just amazing. So helpful and welcoming. All eating places need people like her who take eating out to a whole new enjoyable level. What a star.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enjoyed a solid meal but did have a mix up over water - host asked if we wanted still or sparkling and we answered still, like tap. He brought and opened a bottle. We thought it was weird especially when the waiter later filled our glasses from a pitcher. Turns out it was a $10 bottle of still water they charge for (and removed when we asked about)…That said, my partner enjoyed the wagyu burger and their entree-sized risotto was generous enough for dinner. Well informed waiter gave a great gin recommendation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gorgeous food and drinks. Food all arrived together, didn't wait long at all. Service was friendly and helpful, highly recommended. Would come back. Something to consider there is no kids menu as such or mocktail menu. Only seems to cater for people who drink alcohol or the coke range. Luckily my kids are good eaters but did have to pay big dollars for their meals so we plates to share

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here for Mother's day brunch. Lovely staff and were very prompt in getting our orders which was perfect for us as we have 4 kids who don't like to wait around for ever. Also didnt have to wait long for our meals either and they were beautiful and so tasty. Can't wait to go back their again.
