★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a great place! My 3 year old couldn't get enough of it. Heaps of amazing resources and equipment, something for every age group. Swings, seasaws, a flying fox, slides, climbing stuff and lots of grass to run around and get rid of some energy. Lots of parking and toilets, too. We will definitely come back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Giant playground with a killer train track! Nothing else you can ask. Sometimes you can also see young ones talking about love here, so must be a pretty romantic place

Lots of shady trees.
Lots of seats and picnic tables.
Loos
A cute train for the kiddies , find a parent to push lol.
Lots of open space to set up your own picnic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very dangerous playground for adults and busy toddlers the playground needs to be updated to be more kid friendly. Had a minor concussion and was admitted to hospital running over the bridge to catch-up with my toddler and bumped my head on the metal pole. Won't be going here ever again. Plenty other safe playgrounds to have fun at like the new western springs one ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent Playground. Lots of space for both little ones to play, and for older kids as well. Lots of big, old trees providing lovely shade in the summer. The big red train is a favorite for young kids to ride around the track, while the flying fox is a big hit for older kids. The Stardome is next to the Flying Fox.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cornwall Park is always great, such a huge area in the middle of Auckland with great facilities and open spaces for everyone, especially on a beautiful sunny day having family picnics. Good playgrounds and areas and the Planetarium is fantastic. We took two grandkids there (7 & 8) for a dome done movie display of the sun and our galaxy, it was really educational and interesting and managed to keep the boys enthralled through out, what a great way to educate kids about the Earth, Sun and our Galaxy's differences. Great playground very close to the Planetarium with lots of picnic tables and shade and rooms for the kids to run around. Fantastic walks throughout the park and neat climb too the top of the mountain Maungakiekie (One tree hill).
