โ โ โ โ โ Terrible range, quite expensive, terrible customer service by about half the team there, other half, absolutely amazing. Meat is bad quality and when we bought lamb from there and got home and opened it to cook for dinner instantly hit with the smell of rotten meat. Was horrible

โ โ โ โ โ The Mall is a cozy center of Karori and has a pharmacy, book store, cafe, 2 supermarkets and a 2 dollar place plus local businesses but is in much need of a refresh. I suggest changing the parks at the entrance to angle parks to make for easier access.

โ โ โ โ โ This is a smaller suburban Countdown, so the range of goods is slightly reduced and may occasionally run out of stock. So 3.5 stars may be more accurate. But the store layout is good, it feels pleasant to shop in there and the fresh groceries are usually good or acceptable quality.

โ โ โ โ โ Not sure what his name is but taller (sorry) solid(ish) presumably Maori guy that is sometimes on self checkout, maybe wears a hi-vis (??), he always smells SO good and heโs super kind & the supermarket is OK!!

โ โ โ โ โ Wherever I go I focus on the costumer service quality and my family, friends and I do feel that the stuff here doing the best they could for us specially with online orders. And even not all the products available here we could get all what we need. We do love shopping in Karori Countdown. Thank you?

โ โ โ โ โ I was looking for two specific things - a hair brush and hair ties. I couldn't find them so I asked a staff member. Their reply "we don't stock those anymore - if you need them you will need to go to New World next door".
Fruit is usually not the greatest quality - we get it online now or from New World (dearer but consistently nicer).
