★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Possibly the worst Countdown in NZ! One star is one to many. In the orange traffic light system when Auckland was still in lockdown continued to make people que to get in probably because if you are lucky enough you may visit on a day they have more than one checkout open. Heaps of staff in the store filling orders, and doing other things but don't you think it would be to your advantage Countdown Katikati to have more checkouts open = more sales, happier customers so a win win for everyone. My suggestion, go to Tauranga, Countdown Katikati don't want your money or your custom shame.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Countdown Kati is holding a small town to ransom, poor service, prices rising uncontrollably, never enough counters open, have to search for trolleys in car park and rubbish including discarded masks at the entrance! One can only blame Covid for so long and CD took it upon themselves to discriminate in who they employ so only themselves to blame!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Theyre very well organised bunch of guys, and finding it hard to keep shelves topped up due to Auckland covid situation, but doin their best. Chris, the boss is a fantastic man, love him to bits. I highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm glad I have good local supermarket such as this. Staff are always friendly & helpful. I've only had to queue twice to get in. The staff are limiting numbers in the shop for safety. And I like to know people are checked for wearing a mask before entry. Everyone is very compliant as far as I've seen. Thank you Countdown.
