I think it’s because we were heavily tattooed and they were discriminating us as soon as we walked in. They both were really rude and told my nephew off for no reason at all. I would never go back again, very horrible customer service. My sister rang you up making a complaint because you were being horrible to my nephew and you knew straight away which family you were trying to mess with. If I could rate a 0/5 I would.

She has bangs on front hair. Countdown oamaru needs to train there staff on how to respond to customers nicely and at least have a smile on there face ! Thanks
E	Erin kang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today my family and I shopped here at countdown Oamaru and was encountered with a very rude and humiliating experience. My parents were purchasing a bottle of wine for themselves to enjoy, the checkout lady there asked for ID which my Dad showed and identified himself as my parent. However, she replied saying how we were not allowed to purchase the bottle of wine as we came as a group and I (16 years) was underage. The checkout lady expressed this in a rude manner. Her supervisor also explained the situation in a humiliating expression. After going through the express checkout, leaving; the supervisor accused us of theft which made us feel extremely humiliated. The supervisor had no factual response towards the situation and said “I need to back up my co-worker” The staff treated us with no respect. I was with both parents and my 25 year old cousin. The questions on the reason as to why my parents were purchasing alcohol and the scene both the lady and her supervisor made left me shocked and left my family publicly humiliated.

Well my wife told me that the groceries here are about 25 percent higher with some items being very expensive. She normally does the shopping.

I have coeliac disease and some gluten free products are in a special section but others are where you expect to find them, there are baking ingredients in the nappy and baby aisle, cling film is with the dairy and eggs.... it's BIZZARRE Not to mention the buckets all over the floor every time it rains!!!

Staff very pleasant and helpful and helpful. Plenty of hand sanitizer readily available . No parking in there car park for motorhomes but room outside on the street.
