Edited: Operator name "Yugan"
Facepalm, I believe the normal processes is to know how much (i.e. quote) first before proceeding.
Then got a quote for $150 dollars. No thank you.
Rejected the offer on the call and receive a text next day saying if I'm still interested? Wow, I've already said no the day before? The communication and information retention is terrible.
In summary, horrendous customer service process, communication and value for service provided.
Would not recommend at all. How on earth did these guys get a rating above 4?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Called them 3 times spoke to an actual person who got all my details so the actual grass cutter (possibly) could call me back. Never happened, despite calling them 3 times and telling them that I’ve not had a call back. Absolutely unresponsive, unprofessional, and utterly waste of my time. Would give them zero stars but sadly that wasn’t an option

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am very happy with the level of service I get from John Neal at Crewcut. He does a great job and always leaves the place looking tidy. The edges are trimmed and gardens tidied which means I can come home and relax.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was waiting for a quote nearly 2 weeks. Then received a call from local operator Paul Milton in East Auckland for general tidy up of our garden. He has visited site and called me back with a quote. We discussed and approved. However, the job wasn't completed as quoted.
He sprayed weeds two hours prior heavy rain. He left waist high weeds in some areas and old foliage has not been removed.
Very low quality job. He spent about around 4 -4.5 hours and charged $500. I emailed him photos a week after his service showing indicating the weeds still there and asked him come back to complete the job. No response.
Very expensive, never again will use Crewcut and recommend .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Crewcut just stopped showing up out of the blue after 9 months of fortnightly mowing. Didn't give any explanation or apology. When I reached out to them they told me to find someone else. Really unprofessional.
