★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great spot to look at planes and the history of pilots from the area. Art gallery and shop on site also. Was disappointed I could not have a flight in a biplane, they are grounded at present. Pays to ring first to see if they are flying. Airplane Restoration off-site costs bit more is privately owned, reception needs to ring them first to see if it's okay. The entrance in get in was $12. Lovely cafe next door with homemade goodies, and a shop which you can visit too

Very cool seeing some of the old aircraft - even had on of the last of New Zealands airforce planes the Aermacchi.
Worth a look and a visit and adding a Rail museum to the place will just add value.
The original Kingston Flyer on display after some brilliant restoration work.

Was looking for something to do with the family and everyone really enjoyed the heritage centre. Great restoration work and museum of old planes. The lady working there was great and very helpful.
