★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time visited since change of ownership some time ago and very sad to say it was a disappointing experience.
Initially there was no spark in the welcome. No costumes, very lack lustre approach. I made my order and the counter staff were helpful but not enthusiastic.
Order of a normal coffee and basic roll ? (which only required re-heating) took about 20 minutes ! I was one of only 2 or 3 customers at this time so there was no reason for such a lengthy delay.
Staff did regularly check if I wanted a coffee top up.
Overall not impressed. Service and ambience have deteriorated. Very sad to see as this was an iconic Oxford destination cafe. Hopefully they will work at improving to return this to the unique, fun place it used to be.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As if the absolutely stunning décor, numerous novelty memorabilia items scattered around the place, overall cleanliness and friendly service weren't enough for you ... they also sell curly fries.
One of the highlights of traveling down the main street of Oxford is getting to visit The Cruisy Days Diner. When you enter, you forget you're there to have something to eat or drink because you are too busy gawking at everything they have on display. The classic diner theme is top notch and the condition of everything from the jukebox to the phone behind the counter is in immaculate condition.
You know its a great sign when even the menus themselves have effort put into them. Speaking of menus they also have a great range of food and drink options available.
Did I mention the Curly Fries? Go and buy the Curly Fries.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a find in Oxford - Cruisy Days Diner receives top marks from us! I had eaten at the market so just had a cappuccino and caramel slice. Man that caramel slice was the BEST! Coffee very good.
Kids had curly fries - rave reviews from both. Both had milkshakes - chocolate and caramel. All agreed best curly fries and milkshakes since our trip started on 22 Dec.
Son had a mini burger - so good my wife had to have one too with her tuti fruity shake.
Daughter bit off more than she could chew with the short stack of pancakes.
