★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Started getting Meals at the Curry Village in Meadowbank around 6 or 7 years back. Lived abroad for 4 years and couldn’t find a single Indian takeout that tasted as good as Curry Village.
First night I returned from abroad to Auckland I went straight to Curry Village to get dinner and was not disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their Goan fish curry is superb. This takeaway is a weekly staple for us. Always something interesting and full of flavour. The service is very prompt and the servings are generous. I would recommend this cafe/takeaway among the best in the Eastern Suburbs. Situated inside the Meadowbank plaza, the parking is generous and their hours are very accommodating. Don’t ignore this little gem. It’s been here for a long time too, further proof of its integrity.
