CurtainStudio Lower Hutt - Hutt Central

Looked like the store had some nice curtains however the service was terrible. The lady in the store was at a desk and looked up at us twice but ignored us completely so we left to take our business elsewhere. Very rude.

We had Lisa Mills come around and help us with our nursey and lounge and she was brilliant ? Her advice was fantastic and she has a lovely nature. Very affordable curtains ?

My blinds were measured & quoted by a Curtain Studio agent. It took three attempts & still the final product was not right - no fault of my own. They quote "elected" in the end, (without consulting with me about "how can we fix this issue for you") to give me a complete refund. They didn't ask if that's how I'd like to progress the issue. Just a refund, nothing extra for all the waiting over 3 months for the blinds to be corrected. I was never impatient or demanding in fact was overly gracious about the issues. Very poor comprehension of what customer service is about. Wouldn't recommend the Lower Hutt store. The other stores may do better, I'd hope

Beware curtains are not the length they say on the signs or packets. Bought curtains for 2 windows in a bedroom and both sets were different lengths. You then have a problem of having curtain tracks at different heights in the room or 1 set of curtains touching the ground and the other set heaps off the floor. Looks very weird either way !!! Talked to staff, their comment was "there are no guarantees on the length of curtains"!!! "They are made overseas you know" Really!!! You are advertising them at a certain length, they should be a certain length. Where is the quality control.???

My Mother recently bought curtains through your consultant Lisa Mills. Mum was wrapped with her professional service and product knowledge and found her friendly and honest to work with. We bought two pairs readymade curtain Astroria – steel on last Sunday (19 September 2021) in Lower Hutt Store for our living room. Actually, we need to have three pairs, but they don’t have 250width in store, we have to order third pair online, this is kind of inconvenient but that is fine. On Sunday night, I was so excited and did iron on the curtains we purchased in Lower Hutt store and then found faulty on the fabric. On the following Monday (20 September 2021), my husband had to drive to the store to get replacement. He did ask the sale lady whether he need to check the replacement before taking home as it was long way drive from Churton Park to Lower Hutt and we didn’t have time to spend on the travel. Both of us are working full time. She had no comments. Ok, drama again, the curtain we took home on Monday, I spent more than 30mins to do iron again, and then when we started pulling the cords, the cords are locked, we cannt really pull the cords at all. Somehow the cords have been sewed on the fabric? I couldnt believe it ..... I was so upset and shocked. •My kids birthday parties are on today (21 September) and this Thursday (23 September). But we don’t have curtains in our living room and their friends will come which is so embarrassing. •We spent lots of time on iron (the curtains are up to 325cm width and 240cm drop for single piece). I did iron twice for two pairs and also traveling from Churton Park to Lower hutt just for getting replacement which waste our time and till now we haven’t have replacement yet. • We trust curtain studio is a specialist in the curtain area. However the quality of the curtain is poor. The RRP price for each pair is $424.99 ……this would be one of most expensive readymade curtains in the store. Not one pair but two pairs in the store have quality issue. And the Lower Hutt store doesn’t have stock and have to wait for more than 1 week to get more stock back before we can get replacements. But I am so worried about if same quality issue happens again what we are going to do? •I would hope the sale lady could be more friendly and helpful when she listening to our problems. If I would know what happened, I would never buy the curtains in Curtain Studio. It wastes our time and makes me really upset. Shouldnt we have compensation? L0l

Do not shop here unless you want a mystery curtain experience! The shop staff are unfriendly and unhelpful, we have had four no-shows from installers with no communication, and they are not even competent enough to successfully arrange temporary curtain installs in the middle of winter. You will only hear about delays after you have been pushed to pay in full. Take your business elsewhere, we will never be returning!

We recently purchased new curtains for our entire home from Curtain Studio in Lower Hutt, the lady who we spoke with was so helpful and we are really happy with the final look. They were also able to recommend someone for quick turn around alterations.
