★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband is a Northland-based client and we have found Custom Care Nursing to be extremely unreliable with returning calls with no co-ordination whatsoever unless there is a phone call prompted by my husband, which sometimes is replied to. Needed prompting to begin the cares, four days after leaving hospital. In the end he had to ring ACC to sort out. A week and a half after cares began, no-one turned up so he phoned, to be told there was no funding, so rang ACC who confirmed the funding had been provided. No schedule was provided so we were unaware when carers were turning up so were house-bound and unable to attend appointments waiting for someone to turn up (or not). At this point he needed to remove a sling after shoulder surgery before showering to do basic stretches to prevent his shoulder seizing, affecting his recovery. Thankfully for a lovely caregiver, who also prompted them for answers and provided him with the schedules she had as time went on. Was promised schedule would be sent through multiple times and is still waiting. He requested cares between 9 and 11 daily - the first couple of weeks there were only two showers in that time frame, the rest were at the end of the day. We have a quadriplegic daughter and have dealt with care companies for years, so we realise how unreliable they can be but at least other care companies return your calls - this would be the worst company we have ever come across - would not recommend to anyone. Once again today no-one has turned up, no response to my message this morning, unable to take his call when he phoned this afternoon, so had to ring the call centre and request to speak to a manager. He was told the manager would ring him back, which hasn't happened and now the co-ordinator has finally contacted him with a schedule following his complaint, but it's too late as he has had an incident attempting to shower himself. He has already requested all funding to be pulled from this company and is awaiting a response from ACC, and an audit. If I was the owner of this company, I would be disgusted in the care provided.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the worst company ever do not trust the so called person in charge she is a liar!!!!!! Would not trust them with anyone that was sick the careers, 1 out of 5 careers are ok but they don’t last working for these liars that can not be trusted please always check on people you no that are in there care I am so worried about the sick and old why I am putting this on here. They will be under investigation shortly!!!
