About Dante's Fine Foods
It all started with with a problem. Having recently immigrated to Cambridge, New Zealand, a Dutch family found themselves in a pickle. Where in their adopted home of NZ they could not find the high-quality foods they'd enjoyed in their native Netherlands?
Tracking down exceptional foods wasn't easy. They travelled far and wide to get what they could: But what was really needed was a shop that would bring the world's best under one roof. The Family decided to do just that. They spent a year unearthing the world's best foods, found the ideal spot in Cambridge to house them and in 2004...Dante's was born.
Several years later the Boutique shop is now owned by a Local Wahine, Kelly Mita-Skeet. Kelly has continued to add to the flavours of Dante's and her intrepid taste buds are always searching for products that satisfy all the senses.
Dante's Fine Foods has become a favourite destination in the Waikato for most people looking for those hard to find ingredients or gifts. It's a shop where not only can you find delicacies from all corners of the globe, but it also boosts an array of artisan products from all over New Zealand that are close to Kelly's heart.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was recommended this place by a new friend. Been in Cambridge only for a few weeks and not happened across before. What a treasure of delicious, and varied treats. I was looking for Nederlandse fayre and they have it all there! The Gouda is divine and you are offered a taste of whatever takes your fancy. I am delighted to have this on my doorstep and when my Dutch visitors arrive I will have a fully stocked cupboard of all their favorites that they have been unable to get whilst away from home. Lovely atmosphere. Will definately be making this a regular stop off for treats!
