This Italian food outlet is located inside Queen's Rise and can be easily spotted. Conveniently accessible.
Well maintained and organised.
Limited but comfortable seating is available in front of this outlet. Beautiful ambiance and nice atmosphere. Service is well-timed and cordial. Welcoming staff.
Food is delicious, specially the pizzas. Good presentation.
The cheese is imported directly from Italy as was informed by the staff.
Plentiful food options although limited choice for vegans and vegetarians specially due to cheese being made from animal rennet. The chef was very courteous to make vegetarian pizzas without cheese on request.
Fresh preparations. Table service. Offers takeaways.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered takeaway at the Takapuna branch. Picked up our order 15 minutes later only to get back and unpacked 5 pizzas that were all cold and soggy.
Very disappointed for a first experience with Dante’s as we tried to call and let the team know and the waitress was rude and dismissive. Offered no apology and said she was too busy to talk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We dined at Dantes in Queens Rise to sample the best of Neopilitana cuisine and tried the pannouzi vegetariana (vegetarian Napoli street sub) with a glass of Montepulciano d’Abruzzo and I absolutely loved my dish as well as a vegetarian pizza and tiramisu.
Food arrived within 10 minutes and was exquisite. The dessert was very memorable too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here for dinner and was not disappointed. Sourdough base was perfect and thin sauce was on point and all the toppings felt fresh. The staff were helpful but not invasive and the decor and ambience oozed class. P.s. the dunnies(toilets) nearby are also very nice.
