The food is amazing and I can see why there is always a long line at this place. I ordered a double chicken souvlaki with hot chilli and hummus and it was so delicious I almost went back for another one (the portion sizing is huge though so I was already full) The white sauce was tangy and delicious and the tomato sauce was sweet and complimented everything perfectly. I am not a big fan of the tomato chunks so I skipped those but I imagine if I liked tomato, they would be equally delicious too
I also had the pleasure of being served by a young girl whos name I didn't catch (she was a young maori girl I believe from the greenstone and maori earring she was wearing) so if you know who I'm referring to, please send her my thanks
She patiently explained the menu to me as I had never eaten there before and answered all of the questions that I had, even wishing me a happy birthday as she noticed that it was when she checked my vaccine pass.
If I could rate more than 5 stars, I definitely would! Reccomend!

The queue can get pretty long sometimes, especially on the weekend, however the staff are very onto it. Despite there being so many people in line in front and behind me, I received my order within about 5 minutes of payment - pretty awesome !!!
Sometimes it is difficult to get through to the counter to collect your food, however it is understandable considering the chaotic, space constrained and stressful lunch rushes.
And please try Dmitri's falafel!! It is absolutely delicious, as are their homemade sauces. Definitely a vegetarian must-go in the city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really delicious food. The salads are nice and fresh and you get a decent amount of meat. My favourite place to eat at Riverside, so far. A shame that they close at 6pm during the week, because it'd be the perfect quick dinner before a movie.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So far, the best souvlaki place I've been to. Single sized platter + small pita is a good portion if you're hungry, but want a little room for desert. Lots of fresh salad and sauce. Very tasty meat (I had beef mince and my wife had chicken). Olives are a tad too salty for my taste, but it's not a big deal. Overall, very healthy meal.
