An amazing meal at this very cool restaurant! My husband and I reminisced about our time in Spain, and found the paella and Sangria to be the closest to what we had in Spain. Great staff and we are looking forward to our next visit. The only thing that would have made it better for us would be a few simple menu options for picky kids like ours.

Another awesome session at Castro’s. Relaxed, fun day. Perfect way to spend the last afternoon of 2021! Staff are bloody awesome, food delicious and this is our favourite place in Riverside Market in ChCh. A must do and the fit out is amazing!

Food is good. My wife and I had dinner here. The environment is not bad.

Faultless service and nice interior. Tapas was overpriced and lacked flavour though. I know Spanish is not Mexican but a chilli option for the calamari is necessary while the tomato thing was also bland. Maybe add Ja'mon to the tapas options?

Amazing venue, so beautiful. Yum food. Paella wasn't crunchy but still good. The mushrooms croquettes are amazing and we will be back for more of these!!

We visited first time and the ambience is very nice. The place wasn’t very full maybe 40% on a Thursday night. We had sirloin tappas. Which was tasty but left a lot to be desired for 35$. Steak piece with just some sauce. Nothing else!! I also had venison tartar for the first time so can’t say whether this was good or not but would skip this dish. 25$ Fried chicken was prolly the best dish and highly recommended. 17$ for 5 pieces Prawns 6 pieces for 17$ as well and they were tasty too. However not filling at all. Mocktail for 9$ . Just ok.. avoid at best. It’s soda water with sugar syrup and some mint leaves with pieces of lemon. Cream Catalan’s - basically creme brulee. 13$ which was nice. Overall bill 116$ for 2 ppl and didn’t feel even half ful.. taste wise prolly 3/5 but value wise 1/5. This is a very expensive place and not even fine dinning. . And unless you are feeling overly indulgent best to avoid.
