★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered drinks, calamari and fries. Both the calamari and fries were served luke warm. While the service was super friendly there were big waits in-between finishing drinks and having our order taken again. Generally disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best part of my stay was being able to dine in Dixie Browns in the mornings for breakfast. Food was absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend although it does get busy and the tables do get booked out. Food & drinks were superb. Customer service always on point. Will definitely be back on my next visit to the Mount (:

Fabulous selection of food. The food was delicious, service was friendly and very professional. Coffee was outstanding. Wished we had left space for the many delicious sweets but will have to come back again for that. Did sneak in a piece of very yummy fudge.
Will definitely be back ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not the best breakfast I've had. I started with a bit of a disappointing hot chocolate. They put a block of chocolate on a stick, which melts off and then sits in the bottom of your cup so you're pretty much just drinking milk until you reach the bottom which is 100% overly sweet chocolate. I had the bacon and eggs on gf toast with added hashbrown and tomatoes. Everything is slightly cold, bacon is pretty salty and hashbrown was miniature for the extra $2.5. Overall wasn't the best. My husband said the Belgian waffles were really good, and my cousins breakfast burrito looked pretry small, he was still hungry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good location with nice views. Set up is very nice and luxurious with friendly staff. I ordered caesar salad, presentation was excellent but the bread was so hard that was very difficult to chew, some of them were so hard like a rock ?. The other think that was interesting was that I found bacon ? in the salad which is not very common in caesar salads at least those that I have tried. And there was so much sauce that made the salad far away from being a healthy option. Overall, I enjoyed the meal and the experience and I recommend the place if you visit Tauranga

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant is our new favorite. The food is very delicious and portion is generous. Remember to try the Chicken Sandwich in the lunch menu and the Baked Brie in the dinner menu!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Right near the forefront of Mount Maunganui, not far from the hot pools. A great place to relax and have a quiet dinner. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. We had fast and efficient service. The food is excellent and a large selection of dishes. I enjoyed a surloin steak with BBQ sauce, my wife had a fish burger. Delicious. Highly recommended.

Comfy seating.
Tea & Tart yummy.
My friend opted for Fresh Cream Scones with her Tea.
Server a tad slow and in her defence 'Dixie Browns' was busy.
