Have been using them for the servicing and other issues as well but everytime I am very very pleased with them. Highly recommended and grt service guys keep it up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just giving these guys a huge shout out! I called them at 4.10pm on Wednesday (they were due to close at 5pm) with suddenly really jammed up steering coming back from Mike Lake. They agreed to have me swing by and spent 20-30 mins looking at my car and making sure it was safe for me to drive it home to Wanaka, upskilling my knowledge and accidentally discovering and solving another issue in my car in the mean time and all without a charge. Really blimmen appreciated it! Thank you! ???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you need a mechanic in Queenstown, go no further than these guys. They are really good and for me, they were significantly cheaper than any quotes from other mechanics in the region. They did extra work for me (installed a battery I had bought online) for free, they gave me an expedited appointment after I messed up my first one (all the while being kind and polite), and they even gave me a ride home after I left my vehicle with them for repairs. I haven’t had a better deal from another mechanic in NZ.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a chat with John - car mechanic on phone. I explained that I have an issue with engine temperature rising when I drive long distance and he said it might be a radiator issue and it can be diagnosed when they can have a look at the car which sounds reasonable and price can be quoted for the job. Also Tried to get a rough cost for normal oil change service and coolant flush for my car which are predefined services and giving a rough estimated shouldn't be a problem but he said it varies from car to car. He was definitely not polite to answer my questions I had as a consumer. I understand they might be busy but this is not a way to talk to customer. I had a chat with 3 other mechanics and they're able to give me a rough estimated for oil change and coolant flush. Definitely I won't recommend talking to John if you're going with DJ Automotive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing service. Daughters had issue with car in wellington on way to Queenstown, made it there ok and i had contacted DJ Automotive to see if they could check the car over. Was able to book it in the next morning, done a thorough check and a couple of things need to be done but i couldnt be happier with the service. Highly recommend them to anyone in the Queenstown area.
