ABOUT ME

​

I have been teaching golf in the Wellington region for over ten years. A PGA member since 2009, I left my position as Club Assistant  Professional in 2011 to follow my passion for teaching. I am now one of the most in-demand golf coaches in Wellington. Whether you are just beginning your golfing journey, have competitive aspirations, or just want to enjoy the game more, I can provide you with the knowledge and skill set necessary to accomplish your goals. My background as a professional golfer, allows me to educate golfers of all skill levels who come to improve.

As a golf coach, I will help you to understand the process for improvement and the necessary steps along the journey to your ultimate goals. I don’t provide quick tips or band-aid fixes, I am passionate about long-term results and lasting success. 

​

To help you improve your game and lower your scores, I will address the full swing, short game, putting, practice routines, course management and the mental aspect of the game. From my personal experience, I am confident that you will see progress and results in your first lesson​

My strengths as a coach are my overall knowledge of the game and its technical aspects, my playing experience, my ability to communicate, and being patient and understanding during each players personal learning and development experience. I take pride in being able to teach complex concepts in a simple manner.

​Currently I am  Coaching  at the Golf Warehouse in Lower Hutt. Through teaching, I have met so many amazing people and feel very fortunate to teach a game I love to people that share in my passion. 

I was recently recognized as a Top 50 Junior golf coach by Operation 36 Golf, something I am really passionate about, Junior golf.

MY PHILOSOPHY

Since everyone is uniquely different, no two golf swings are the same.

​

My teaching philosophy is not based on any one swing model. ​

​​

Every golfer's swing has specific strengths and weaknesses. In order for my teaching to be most effective, I take into consideration your body type, personality, learning style, skill level, and goals. From a beginner to the elite golfer, my teaching style and philosophy are the same. I find the greatest strength of your golf swing to build around, and identify and change the biggest weakness in your swing that is limiting your success.
