I guess it depends on why your dogs in there, if you've lost it and they pick it up sweet you'll get your dog back ours is a bit more involved about a misunderstood beautiful natured dog that got cornered and lunged at 3 men, a cop, a parent and dog control. He didn't bite anyone and dogs don't miss if he wanted to connect with anyone of them he would of and in his mind and ours was just protecting the group of kids he came across because he loves kids and now we're looking at losing him which is going to devastate us and our kids if we do, but we're fighting to get our boy back, the facilities are nice and new and the staff are all friendly and just doing their jobs I gave 1 star because it was like visiting one of my kids in prison. I had to add to this because today Friday 3rd August is the final court hearing for Titan. One thing I know if these people seen what a beautiful natured big teddy bear our boy is we would all ready have Titan back where he belongs. With Whanau. So that didn't go well they ordered the "destruction" of our boy but the lawyer has appealed it. So our mission now is to put it out there to get as much support as we can. They are making Titan look like this vicious dog and he's nothing like that. Please like this to show your support I'm going to post a video and some photos of this so called dangerous dog so judge for yourselves. I also said the staff where just doing their jobs but after visiting Titan again and seeing what bad condition he's in and how he reacted to one of them hosing down near where we were we wondered if Titans being mistreated they say he's food obsessed look at the condition he's in you can see his rib cage his paws have sores on them so no he's not food obsessed he's starving. Can't add the Video will keep trying. The first photo is Titan before all this the rest are of him in the pound, you just need to look at his eye's in the first photo when he was home compared to him in the pound. This is breaking our hearts and just want our boy home, he's part of our family and anyone with a pet can relate to that. This was a one off incident and would never happen again because Titan is the victim of someone's carelessness on the day this happened the movers left the gate open and now we could lose our boy. Titans been locked up since December last year, he's done his time, they should do the humane thing and let our boy come home he deserves to be loved and nursed back to the condition he was in before all this, after everything our poor boy has been through he deserves a second chance..... and a second chance he's going to get. So happy to say we won our appeal and we're getting our boy back, just want to say a big nga mihi to our lawyers Jo Woodcock and Nathan Bourke who are legends in their field and to Justice Collins the high court judge who to us and I'm guessing to alot more people here is a hero and a legend, a big nga mihi to him for his fairness and consideration of all the facts which resulted in us getting our beautiful natured boy back. It's come at a cost, mentally, physically and emotionally, not to mention the pound fees for close on a year. But that's all trivial, we won and we're getting our boy back. Also nga mihi to Sarah who worked at the pound and bonded with Titan.
