Our History
Dr Moto was established back in June 2016 out of a mobile workshop in the Waikato. With a very strong passion for the industry and motorcycle racing, the business quickly grew to the shop it is today.
A key to our growth has been establishing quality relationships with our customers and focusing on giving our best possible service every time. The old adage of "you're only as good as your last job" rings true for every team member at Dr Moto.
Workshop
We have a fully dedicated service workshop for all things Motorcycle! We have 3 Qualified Motorcycle Technicians and 1 Apprentice Mechanic. Our technicians are specialist in Ducati, Aprilia, Triumph & Yamaha. We also have a wide range of experience on motorcycle brands such as Suzuki, Kawasaki, KTM & more. Between us, we have over 70 years of experience in the industry, this combined with using the most up to date tooling and diagnostic equipment, we are prepared to take on almost any challenge and get your bike back on the road or track quick smart!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was blown away at how well the service was, I contacted them about a possible viewing of a bike on Sunday and Ryan took the time out of his day to meet with me and let me see the bike, spent almost an hour there talking, I didn’t feel rushed or pressured to buy that day and a week later I picked up my new CF Moto, had the hand over with Ryan and again awesome service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My sump plug came out during a ride recently (New rider mistake), and had my bike taken to a different shop at first, mechanics looked over it for a solid 20 seconds and wouldn't touch the thing, then had the bike taken here at DR MOTO and within 5-10 mins Ryan provided one of the most amazing and professional services I've ever had in my life, understanding, humourous, and clearly knowledgeable, the team let me know they'd work on my bike and get it back into shape. Only two days later and its all fixed up, cleaned, and fine tuned beautifully, all for a great price, thank you so much guys, I'll definitely be returning here time and time, and will recommend to all other riders out there! 10/10

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ryan has been absolutely amazing to deal with. Quick, efficient and accurate work on my Daytona.
Ended up taking my bike to Ryan after having poor service from another company, charged me more than Dr moto and my bike didn’t work when I took it back, all over the span of 3 months. I was crushed yet within a week, Ryan has sorted the issue, got my bike a warrant and gotten it back to me. His communication and commitment to assisting a fellow rider has given me faith in mechanics again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When I made the decision to part with my beloved Ducati Monster, I chose Dr. Moto to sell the bike on my behalf and see me through the process. Ryan was brilliant. He asked me a whole bunch of questions to make sure that he had all the facts, was very thorough in his explanations of both the process and what my sales expectations should be, and made sure that he checked with me before agreeing on anything with the buyer. The whole process was easy; the hardest part was saying goodbye to my big red baby when I dropped it off to Ryan in the first place. I thoroughly recommend Dr. Moto. Honest, thorough and transparent. I’ll use them again, both to buy and sell when the time comes.
