β β β β β Dunedin Airport showing that regional airports can offer fantastic service. Easy parking, return of hire cars and good eats while you wait.

β β β β β Small but not regional sized for sure. Overall, was still pleasant looking inside, however there is a ton of construction going on right now that can make finding your gate confusing as well as driving around the front and not going down the parking lot ticket side. An Air NZ check-in baggage belt was also broken today so the lines were held up. Other than that, there's a handful of shops inside and I'm assuming at least one restaurant although we didn't stop to look. One thing I have to particularly call out in a great way is the accessible dual flush toilet buttons, best ones I've ever seen, that should work especially well for the blind.

β β β β β This review is not for the airport but for the cafe thats straight up the elevator. This sausage roll was below acceptable level. Sausage was dry and pastry wasnt even cooked. Waste of food and money.

β β β β β Air New Zealand lounge is fabulous!
The airport is slick, modern with a few cafes
My main moan would constantly be having to take my shoes off and my cardigan and jacket which basically leaves me wearing a tiny dress and itβs cold and I feel exposed publically
Staff on security are never very friendly- itβs not a super pleasant experience

β β β β β It's an airport in the middle of a paddock. Probably the most isolated major airport anywhere in NZ so don't expect to stop at the shops along the way.
But its modern and efficient and easy to find your way around. Get your food and drink before going through security.
Lots of seats and tables and good food and drink choices.
Even has an entertainment centre but bring some coins.

β β β β β Security experience is incredibly frustrating every time I fly through Dunedin. I fly through most New Zealand airports regularly and no other airport has the same or even similar security protocols and procedures. The team is slow, poorly trained, and, worst, is entirely out of step with the rest of the country. They have higher spec kit than most airports (full body scanners etc) and seem to delight in having an excuse to use it, even years after it was installed. It always leaves a bad taste in the mouth leaving an otherwise great city.

β β β β β Nice airport in general, nothing much once u pass by the security desk. Just left waiting, would love to see a little shop or food place. Yes there was already a cafe but unfortunately it was closed. Overall, not bad at all though.

β β β β β Awesome airport, has everything you could possibly need for before and after your flight. Easy to find things, staff are friendly and always willing to help. Itβs small but has no wasted space, definitely one of my favourite airports in NZ!
