★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a wonderful time at Dusky Ridges. The apartment was beautiful and very cozy, we didn't want to leave the moment we got there. The hostess was very welcoming and she took us around the farm, we also got the chance to feed the animals. Precious farmstay experience, had a glimpse of the farming life in New Zealand, the best B&B in Te Anau.

We have just spent 3 nights at Dusky Ridges and found the accommodation comfortable and cosy, the location AMAZING with SPECTACULAR views, and our hosts Win and Hendrick charming, friendly and super helpful. There were many lovely little touches that made our stay one of the best during our 3 weeks in NZ.... from the basket of provisions when we arrived and freshly baked cakes each day (thanks Win) to being allowed to help feed the animals one afternoon (a highlight for me on the trip). Highly recommend if you are visiting Te Anua or wanting a base to explore Milford or Doubtful Sound.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing! Super freindly hosts, without being invasive, beautiful farmstay-beautiful decor, quality linen, cosy bed, quiet and the delicious goodies left in our fridge, plus the homemade bread was so appreciated. Great value, would definately stay again and recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were fortunate to stay at dusky ridges for 2 nights in the apartment. Absolutely beautiful location, beautifully presented rooms - clean and extremely comfortable. Love the country style decor and quality Citta furnishings! Win is so kind and made it extra special for my daughter with a kids choccie surprise on day 2. We loved the home baked goods and breakfast spread provided as part of the room. So many little touches that make this accommodation so special. Thank you Covid for allowing availability for us to stay here! Can't wait to come back. Thanks again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a fantastic stay at the chalet! Honestly my son couldn’t care less about Milford Sound cruise or walk in the bush. All he wanted to do was stay at the farm and feed the animals. Even Win and Hendrik let our son played with their family dog. Win always made sure we’ve got everything we need and have enough food, but respect your privacy at the same time. Truly made us feel like we were staying at family house. We are grateful they welcome us to stay there. Hopefully will be able to book their chalet again in the future!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are considering staying at Dusky Ridges, do not hesitate to book! We stayed at the Chalet for 2 nights and had such a wonderful experience.
The Chalet itself is spacious, clean, wonderfully decorated, and very comfortable. We were greeted so warmly and there was even a gift basket full of treats upon our arrival. The breakfast provisions (including fresh homemade bread) were absolutely delicious and very generous. The views from the room of the farm, lake, and mountains are spectacular! We also greatly enjoyed interacting with the sweet animals on the farm.
Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. Thank you again to Win and Henrik for a truly amazing time in Te Anau.
