β β β β β The backpackers rooms have a nice big space and a sink and the beds are pretty comfortable the only problem is that you have 1 hour free wifi in the room and ifyou want free limitless wifi you need to go to the main lounge, other that that its pretty fair place

β β β β β The room was cold despite having a heater. But the space was clean. Its "family friendly" which is good for people with kids but terrible if you dont, there was a few screamers during my stay and it was so unpleasant. The property is also far from the town centre, shops and resturaunts. But near the lake which is beautiful! And tour busses pick up/drop off at the door.

β β β β β Accommodation in area very hard to get. These people were excellent in ensuring we had accommodation. They rearranged prior booking so we didn't have to change beds during our stay. All the facilities were clean and adequate. Kitchens were well equipped and one is very modern. Adequate laundry and common areas.
Full range of accommodation from self contained cabins to unserviced tent sites.
Small shop on site.
Booking agents for many tours and excellent advice given. They booked us on a small English commentary tour and cruise on Milford Sound. This proved to be an excellent choice well run and not crowded like the big operators who also use Chinese as the first language.
We really enjoyed the time here and would recommend it as a venue to base your The Anua visit.
