"I love my MeloYelo. In another life I might have dreamt of owning a motorbike for feelings of freedom and excitement. Nowadays, the joints are a little creaky and life is more about contentment and comfort than speed. Somehow, more about the journey than the arrival. Still, there remains a thirst for adventures and new possibilities so I did the research and found I had options. I bought a MeloYelo and there it was: Freedom, but at my own pace. A little bit of speed but not out of control and not least, a little bit of bling with quirky but classy design. My smoky blue Tranzit has looks and function.
A whole new world of NZ's natural wilderness has opened up for me, on beautiful trails I would never have access to on foot these days. But I'm also an urban girl. I feel alive in the city I live in, making use of new cycleways amongst cyclists of all ages, enjoying a feeling of community, the cityscapes, the harbour, the joy of exercise, friends who also bike, coffee, and perhaps even being a small part of a movement towards better and sustainable city living. Who needs a Harley? Buying my MeloYelo has felt really good and it has enriched my live in so many ways."

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I purchased a Tranzit MD eBike from Ken and I am very happy with its quality, performance and stability both on the road and on tracks. It is a joy to ride and I highly recommend the Meloyelo brand. Ken was very helpful and knowledgeable about the different options available and ensured I got the best model for my biking requirements. Once my bike arrived, he ensured that it was set up perfectly for my height etc and I also bought the NCX suspension post which makes my seat even more comfortable and makes for a very smooth ride.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I purchased "The Roam" about 6 months ago and have clocked up 800kms, mainly around town and a few local bike trails around New Plymouth. Ken did a post sale check and since then the bike has not missed a beat. It is of good solid construction and easy and comfortable to ride with it's memory foam saddle. A handlebar rear view mirror is a must for busy roads. Puncture free tires give a feeling of security. Ken is a very agreeable agent, easy to deal with and I can highly recommend him and the company. So if you are looking for an ebike, Meloyelo should be at the top of your list.

He then explained the differences between the various models which help us decide on what model was best for us. In our case a Traverse for me and an Ascent for my wife. We are now both looking forward to many biking adventures of discovery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kens agency provides excellent service. 5 Stars as far as we are concerned. Our 4 star rating is for the bike. We bought an Ascent based the bike design and on the Consumer Report on the Bafang Motor. The bike design is second to none. Robust, high quality standard fittings and a wide "Step Through" essential given Wendy's disability. I have had 55 years cycling experience on road and trails. Four of those years involving E Bikes of which I have ridden many over a wide variety of terrain. Prior to purchase Wendy test rode the bike on the flat. Great. But hill climbing was not as good as other E bikes ridden on lower power settings (2 out of 5). Ken has optimised the Ascents motor controller settings and changed the 42 tooth chain ring for a 38. Hill climbing is improved but you need to be on power setting 4 or 5 to get the assistance needed. The MeloYelo is a good bike but we would recommend you test ride a variety of brands up steep hills to make sure it you are comfortable with the need to change both power settings and gears on approaching a steep hill so you can keep up with your E Bike riding friends on the inclines.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ❤️ my Mello yellow e bike it's a tranzit and very comfortable ride I love the support I have received from the Mello yellow team they couldn't have done more for me.its great on trails and just around town I wouldn't trade for another I think they are great for older people to.i get comments about it being a great bike and they are wrong.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ken listened carefully to my experience with ebikes and the criteria I required in a new one. He allowed me to try out several and was interested in my feedback. He was courteous and keen to help. Ken always phoned me back and tried very hard to help me get my old ebike fixed , even though he couldn’t fix it himself he shared ideas with my husband about what he might do.
My husband and I then both bought lovely new MeloYelo bikes and it’s a joy to ride them. We love our bikes and feel thrilled with our choices. Many thanks MeloYelo and to Ken especially. He does great service!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love my new bike. I have painful arthritis in my feet preventing me from enjoying all the walks I used to be able to do. Now I can enjoy them all again. Ken was so helpful, kind and patient showing me the different models and so knowledgeable about the functions of the bikes. There was no need to be nervous because they are a dream to ride .The price was great too. Thanks MeloYelo team for getting me out and about in the fresh air again.I have a new lease on life ?.
