★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This business does NOT deserve one single star, but I cannot post this information without picking at least a "star" of disgust. I got 1 kg of white bread dough from them today and they charged me DOUBLE what the bakery down the road charge. If you want to be gladly ripped off, be my guest to go to this business. AS WITH ME: NEVER, NEVER, NEVER AGAIN I will enter their front door. Third time bitten, a thousand times shy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A useful pit stop at Pine Hill, a little tired looking and the usual baked goods with no stand out items. Coffee is surprisingly good and modest seating available out front to kick back and watch the world go by on east coast road.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best pies in Auckland. Whenever I am in this part of town I always come by for their juicy & chunky (yet cheap) pie. They aren't fancy, just do the basics right :). Their other products are quite good value too. The premises is a no frills bakery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a great experience sadly potato top pie had a strange taste also had a sausage roll that tasted awful my caramel slice and chocolate fudge slice were both rock hard either change of owners or orginal been slacking

Hidden gem!
I bought butter chicken pie and jalapeño beef pie.
Butter chicken is the best I taste around. Full of curry spices and not to sweet. Not like some of bakeries, it’s shredded chicken inside. Compare with chicken pieces, shredded chicken can absorb the sauce nicely.
I also like jalapeño beef. The spicy with jalapeño gives a highlight of beef. Good balance.
Overall, I would like to taste other pies some days . Highly recommend

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came in last weekend for a pie, used to come up here all the time growing up, and I think the place has gotten nicer! I like the new selection of treats and pies. Got a steak, jalapeno and cheese pie and it has to be my new favourite pie out there! Caramel filled doughnut was delicious and had heaps of the caramel filling. I went around 12pm and everything was fresh and delicious. Shame I don't live near there anymore!
