β β β β β Been there a few times now. Every time I am disappointed in their food. This custard pie the last straw. When she got it for me she took off the metal container no doubt to re use it. Horrible place.

β β β β β Iβve been a customer at this bakery for a long time and sad to see their pie quality dropped over the years. Even management may have changed, I would expect the original recipe be followed. Latest pie I tried was a total failure - a pie with bad pastry top and chewy steak. Will not go again ?

β β β β β I don't usually review bakeries because for the most part they're fairly similar, but my go-to pie--steak & mushroom--was one of the better ones that I've had. The meat was chunky and tender, the gravy was rich and flavoursome...not gelatinous and bland. Will be looking at trying another one when I'm in the area.

β β β β β I LIKE PIES and both the steak n' cheese and the mince n' cheese here were DIVINE! I'm gutted that Aussie pies are not as good as this ? I love pies... we purchased from these guys, took home and froze the pies to consume later (a big NOT TO DO) and yet after 2-3 days when we warmed in oven it was still AMAZING. I wish I had time in NZ to try every flavour pie from here. Highly recommended, do yourself a favour and check it out (did I mention I love pies ?)!
