★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely rude and arrogant behaviour by andrew campbell when my daughter consulted him this afternoon. Had is feet on the desk and extremely rude and arrogant. A formal complaint will be laid with the district health board. It is very interesting reading the review earlier by Pipa. Seems he has an extremely. I urge Pipa to do the same. We need to weed out such people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would like to say about absolutely unacceptable behavior of Doctor RICHARD NICOL.
The appointment for my baby was scheduled at 8.45 am, but because of heavy traffic was that morning we were late in 5 minutes. The doctor showed me with a gesture that he was not going to listen to me and I should leave his office and make a new appointment. We live in North Shore and stood in traffic for 55 minutes to get to the clinic on this day. But most of all in this situation I was outraged not by the humiliation that I experienced, but what the doctor said: "I looked at the notes, you have nothing serious!" Yes, he looked at the NOTES not at the child! The fact is that my 1.2-year baby cannot keep balance and walk because of has one foot turned out the side.
And now attention! The next patient arrived at 8.55 am for an appointment at 9.15am and Dr RICHARD NICOL invited her to his office and left us outside. Btw I left the clinic at 9.10am and there was not any patient for 9.00am. I do not know on what planet we live if this doctor decided to punish me and my baby!!! Maybe because we are an immigrant. He didn't help my child, he didn’t give me advice for treatment, he just sent us out of his office. We still have not received treatment…
I am deeply indignant at such a non-human attitude of Dr RICHARD NICOL. I want to warn all patients about Dr RICHARD NICOL behavior, especially with immigrants, in order to warn all patients and moms about his unprofessionalism. Look for a professional, not the Dr RICHARD NICOL who humiliates the mother with the child in her arms who needs help.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've just had my Second Hip Replacement done by Mr Andrew Campbell over a 2 yr period. 2018-20 at Auckland Hospital. I would have to say my surgery done by Mr Campbell could not be faltered. Thank you for a wonderful job. I would certainly reccomend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Richard Nicol is retired now and the newer generation of surgeons at the clinic are very soft & politically correct and will pander to the modern-mums every whim and whimper very well. Nicol and Campbell etc...should be highly respected for their orthopedic skill and dedicaton to straightening out the children's problem (Otho means straight and Paedic is Child/children. If Nicol and team say its "not serious"...it just isnt - and do as you are advised. I have cerebral palsy which can cause major disability, pain & i cant walk without crutches. Mums with kids with sore legs without disability can let the body repair naturally. Get-Real surgeons like Nicol, only focus on the "real" ortho faults presented. Thats why I stuck with Richard N from when I was 14 until 40 years of age.

He was caring, kind, empathetic and calmed my nerves as well. I cannot fault his professionalism and demeanour. Incredibly grateful that we were referred to him.
