β β β β β Stunningly beautiful - Tulips on full display until 13th September. Put your walking shoes on, grab a mask and enjoy hours ..... or a quick hour. Walking in amongst nature, beatiful nature in the city. For those who are young, young at heart and fit lots of walking tracks right to the trop of what used to a the quarry. There is an entrance fee which covers the massive maintenance upkeep and planting $12 adults, $8 seniors and Im not sure children may be $4. Open Wed - Sun. 0900am - 1600pm. And please support the wonderful cafe ..... fantastic food, service and location.

β β β β β Booked 4 adults and 1 toddler for High Tea. Was told child was free however there was no food or drink provided for the toddler. Free entry into the gardens is included in the High Tea purchase. What I seen of the gardens (minimal) was very pretty however very limited access in wheelchair. Over priced for a nice. Mediocre High Tea.

β β β β β Friendly helpful staff, on site cafe, very cheap day out. I'm a regular there for the wildlife and flower photography, it's my serine happy place, just joined as members so now free entry. The one thing I would appreciate is an increase in operating hours, maybe like a 9:30 to 5:30 especially in the summer has the summer the native birds are active later in the day.

β β β β β A true gem in central Auckland. This is the perfect place to "take a break" without leaving the city. The grounds are beautiful and well- kept. There are little benches and hidden stairs to explore. There are stunning views! The cafe is nice and has good coffee, nice baked goods and a yummy array of foods for everyone.

β β β β β A gem of a location that is known by too few people. As well as extensive tracks through themed plantings and areas, there's a very agreeable cafe. They also have rooms for hire for your function or off-site planning day. The gardens are a magnet for tui and kereru so that makes a visit even more special. Check it out and help spread the word.

β β β β β The gardens are 5 star. Beautiful, so well maintained.
High tea more like a 3. Only one of each thing - and they are really tiny. Really could have done with another small sandwich or scone, especially for $45ph. The scones are divine. Next time would just get tea/scones and pay the $12 entry.
