Large breakfast, varied and catered for all types of allergies and diet restrictions. A delicious hot breakfast was offered.
Lovely stay, definitely recommend it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Though Matamata is such a small town, almost every traveller has to visit there just because of Hobbiton Movie Set. Faye gave us an awesome experience in BnB stay. The room was clean and neat. Everything was well prepared. Although we had to share the toliet with our neighbour room, it was totally fine cuz all travellers were very behaved. Her husband is a coach driver of Hobbiton Movie Set. This lovely couple are so kind and we had a good chat with them. Surprisingly, the breakfast prepared by Faye was so rich and her home made spinanch quiche with bacon was super yum. wow we miss her quiche. Thanks for your hospitality, lucky us that we had a good talk with you and had a great breakfast with you and the rest of 4 travellers who are from UK and US. BTW, i just wanna say the transparent roof in the dining room is so impressive for enjoying star and galaxzy. Highly recommended this BnB!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to stay while visiting Hobbiton. The room we had was very nice and comfortable. The breakfast provided in the morning was filling and delicious, and the hosts were great! I managed to leave behind my Airpods and they were kept safe for me in a baggie with my name on it and the date of my stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Willie and Faye are awesome hosts! Willie offered to pick us up from the i-Site as well as drop us off the next day which we were thankful for. Breakfast was delicious, the room (The Loft) was very nice and cozy. I definitely recommend stying with them if you’re going to stay in Matamata.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Comfy beds and lovely hosts. The place was super clean and comfortable, breakfast had a great variety of options, even for my dietary restrictions. Hosts went above and beyond, gave great advice on what to do around the area and left us to do our own thing. Would happily stay again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the second time we have stayed at this bnb. Willie and Faye are excellent hosts who went above and beyond to help us during our stay, (a time of family grief). The room was beautifully presented, the most comfy bed with luxurious linen and throws. The ensuite was exceptionally clean, refreshed daily and had thoughtful touches like flowers. Our breakfasts were delicious, beautifully presented and Willie and Faye were flexible with times allowing us to choose when we wanted breakfast served. They showed interest in us and offered helpful information and advice about the local area etc. We were able to come and go as we pleased. Would thoroughly recommend. We will be sure to return again!
