★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The room was clean, comfortable and modern. The kitchen was ideal for breakfast and all meals. The large bed was comfortable and the large TV with Sky Sports was great. I would have expected to have an electric oil fin heater in the room. The heat pump worked well however it turned off automatically and the room was very cold during the night. I did not like the price. 200 per night for the standard rate is excessive. I paid 150 per night which is still high for a motel. I booked via bookingcom to get the best rate. I paid at check-in.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointing stay here. Dirty kitchen, dirty windows, and no Sky availability as advertised. I emailed the proprietors, but have had no reply for 2 weeks. Not cheap either! We won't be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have stayed at this motel many times previously when it was owned by the previous owner. It was always immaculate, however, now that it has changed hands, the standards have declined dramatically. I stayed here in March 2022, the room smelt, even though the windows were open. I went to use a plate, which was covered in dried food, the other plates and bowls were worse, they were wet with left over food inside the bowls, and on the outside, it was disgusting. Rubbish was piling up around the bin outside which no doubt would attract rats. The paths to the rooms had not been swept and there was debris over the driveway. I should have known what the standard was when pulling into the driveway, with the ripped flags on the flagpole. When I spoke to the person behind the desk, her excuse was they hadn't had time to deep clean each room due to coming out of lock down. Shocking!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice, respectable motel with good size rooms and facilities. Nice big shower with great water pressure. Beds and pillows are comfy, with good side lamps and electric blankets if needed. A/c in the room, which is a bonus. Having a card to access entry and use for power is good. The room had everything that was needed for a comfortable stay. The one letdown is that we did not know where the password was for the wifi, as it was hidden. We had to play treasure hunt... found it after a while, but it may be just something the receptionist overlooked telling us. I would definitely stay here again. Staff friendly & helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked at short notice and were able to get ground floor room, which was great. Very impressed by size of unit and easy access, very large shower with great water pressure. Not something we take for granted! Our hosts were so pleasant and helpful. Great place to stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Generally Clean and tidy..beautiful decor, nice and quiet in the unit, even though it's on the main road. Arrived late at night but they were kind, patient and accommodating.
Theres a safe which was great for securing important things. We had the best sleep ever, I'm so grateful. The only reason they never got a 5 star was because of the shower. There was build up in the corners dirt in the grout and water stains on the glass

The bathroom was filthy with the shower mat growing mould, the kitchen surface and drain was dirty, a toe nail clipping found on the floor, weird white substance on the side table that was not cleaned, the previous guests clothes were left on the back of the door which housekeeping has missed.
First night I stayed was very loud with emergency housing long term staying guests woke me up around 11:30am screaming and swearing. You could smell smoke coming into the room. Continued on for a few hours. The second night other guests were singing and drinking and stopped after midnight. Third night the emergency housing guests were at it again till 3am, banging on the doors, smoking, swearing, running around the complex, this made me feel very unsafe as they appeared to be on drugs so I checked out early from the bad experience. Was told I’d get a refund for the nights I didn’t stay but why should I pay for the nights where I got no sleep. Extremely disappointed and feel that this could of been handled better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was our go-to when staying in Auckland, Previous managers were really helpful and caring. New managers just hopeless- we stayed 3 nights had booked for 4, room was dirty was never cleaned while we were out most of the time- we came back Monday 2.30 room had still not been cleaned.Explained to woman in office we did not want to stay another night as room was not cleaned in 3 days- she said she would put in a request for refund- we were charged! Fact is the room was not clean for anyone else to check into so why were we charged?Appalling stay- never again- theyve had the place for 6 months and is now on way to rundown dump.Save your $ and go elsewhere.
