★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff were friendly and the site is lovely and quiet. The room was basic but clean however the "hot" water was only just warm enough at the start of my shower and turned completely cold about 2 minutes in. There was no toaster and we weren't offered wifi access

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The kitchen tap was broken and my partner had to fiddle around with it for a while just to make it quiet. We booked a two bedroom cabin but ended up with a tiny room that hardly fit the double bed in it, plus a single bed in the kitchen/living area. The toilet was NOT cleaned from the last guest, the bedroom curtains were half off the rail & to top it all off, we had to ring up for other hotels at 12:30 AM because we were getting bitten by BED BUGS. The bed bugs were the absolute breaking point for us. I was very disappointed, to say the least.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had really bad experience, room is freezing cold, smells like never open the windows and got heaps of itchy bites. Booked for two bed rooms but they gave me two rooms(dining and lounge) so the second day, I asked to move us to 2 bed rooms but they didnt want to move me until she saw my body covered with insect bites. No fans in the kitchen, and only one small heater.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Property was nothing like the photos. The staff were lovely but the property was a let down. Shower run out of hot water after 1minute, the rooms were musty, cold, old, and dirty with no way of heating. Beds were extremely uncomfortable and there was a little bit of blood on the bathroom wall. We booked for two nights and left after the first night, forfeited the money for the second night and just left. Really would not recommend at all and especially not at the price it was.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a beautiful scenery, the guy Kevin and the receptionist very polite also the kiwi man nice guy. BUTTTTT the Asian Lady Manager ??♀️ So rude and Bad customer service skills. Cleaning service was terrible Dirty. Due to heavy rain the carpet got wet came through under the front door! And she wouldn’t allow us to move rooms just gave us old towels to put over it ?! That was on the third day of staying there. I had to argue with her just to get a broom or vacuum which she said she couldn’t give me to clean the dam 2bedroom unit we’ve been staying with my 3 children ages from 4,6,7 for the last 3days because it’s level3… she then did a contactless drop outside our door came with a DUST PAN ??♀️?…. P.s we were planning a return stay for this coming long weekend ?♀️ LETS JUST SAY WERE NEVER RETURNING THERE AGAIN!
IF U OWN A MOTEL AND WANT TO OPEN DURING LEVEL3 AUCKLAND ….. USE UR HEAD MAKE A PLAN!! HAVE CLEANING EQUIPMENT AVAILABLE FOR THE CLIENTS ESPECIALLY THOSE WITH KIDS STAYING!!
She killed my experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To start, there was a large chunk of hair in the door frame, dirty pans, one small heater that didn't heat up the room at all, not enough thin blankets for each bed, we slept freezing for 2 nights.
The WiFi also doesn't work, everyone complains but its about the wind and area, don't believe that you will have WiFi here.
Then I left my charger plugged into the wall my bad but they sent back a camera battery and a battery charger, but if they had sent my charger it would of been broken anyway as it was only wrapped in paper and was completely munted.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fair price and good room. We stayed here for one night. The room is neat and tidy, just the style is bit out of date. Hot water is enough for 3 person to take shower and heater working well. The size of room is just enough for small family. Would come back again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gahh! Annoying, cleaners do your job properly. So much dust, curtains, couches we're yuk. Typical old school lodge. 80s style. Was up most of the night killing spiders and mossys as there were many.
Linen was clean though. Wifi didn't even work. Probably won't even get a refund. Pool was ok. Not worth $130 per night for 2
