★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ellerslie station is handy to the shopping center. Easy layout. A major point to swap onto the southern railway line to Papakura or to continue to Onehunga. Basic facilities but efficient.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you swapping from Onehunga to Southern line, or vise versa, this is the station to do that. Especially if you have mobility issues. Good station over all, could do with a toilet and a bit more of a wind break. That said, great rain and sun protection.
