The staff care about people’s pets. The cattery always smells fresh and I don’t have to worry when I drop our cat off as I know he will be well looked after.

Sadly had one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a boarding facility. Booked my 13 year old cat in for 5 days while my family and I were interstate. I pre paid for her stay at their request. Receive a phone call at 5pm the next day after I dropped her off to abruptly tell me to come and pick her up. I explain I am interstate and the lady barks ‘well I didn’t know that!’ I explained that she is probably scared and to give her time. The lady rudely tells me that ‘your cats needs to be friendly or the wouldn’t have taken her’. I was so deeply offended. My 13yo cat was just scared and had only been there for 24 hours. She hadn’t even had time to settle. The rude lady snaps at me and tells me she will speak to the vet and if they have to move her to Mangere then they will. I said I didn’t want that and wasn’t comfortable with that. She snaps at me that she will call me back. 6pm passes, 7pm passes - I’m panicking. I try calling them back and no answer. I’m panicked that they are or have moved her. So I change my family’s flights to fly back early to pick her up. My flight change cost me $600+, we lost accom costs, paid extra for a rental car we didn’t use the entire duration and airport parking. The vet calls me the next day and says ‘oh she’s fine now. Gave her a shot of antibiotics because she has a runny eye and nose!’ I COULD HAVE DIED! They didn’t even ask me! My cat has blocked tear ducts, she has since she was a kitten. Her eyes are always runny. Apparently she had a slight temp. She was in a new environment! They hadn’t even given her 24 hours to adjust. My family and I arrive back in Auckland early and go to pick her up immediately - they hand me more antibiotics and proceed to tell me she had a ‘really bad fever’ - that changed from a slight to a really bad. I just want to get out of there by this point. Everyone I had to explain this to has been so shocked that it even happened. I’ve lost over $1000 because some miserable woman couldn’t just calmly communicate with me and be patient with a 13yo cat who just needed time to adjust. I will be posting this through every outlet I can because it’s beyond poor and I hope no one else is forced into an experience like this. I’ve never felt so much anxiety.

Everyone I've spoken to has been nothing but helpful and caring, and Margaret deserves special mention for going out of her way to make sure my kitty was accommodated for at short notice. No brained to recommend again

Very friendly and helpful staff. Had my cat booked quickly for eye check up. Vet explained my cat's condition well. Cost affordable as well.

Bought a cat brush and the staff member there was very helpful.

Excellent service bu staff and doctors. Only thing is that i went here twice and had already booked appointments with them bt had to wait another 30 to 40 min for seeing tge doc as this place was busy both time i had visited. Apart from that everything was excellent. I was able to purchase grooming kit and toys for my pet from here.

Great place to take your animals there so friendly and they love animals

Just a wonderful little local neighborhood pet store and lots of items for our cats.
