★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Three of us went for dinner, it was really busy, being Mothers day, and our meals that came out after an acceptable wait time, were amazing! Presented well, and all meals were delicious. I had a seafood platter which would feed a giant but was a very reasonable price. The best service weve ever experienced anywhere. Even the chef appeared at the end of the night to appologise for the wait, that everyone was all good with as it was busy. Great night, we will be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great experience for mothers day (on the saturday not the sunday)! Rang up and booked a table the day before the lunch and they fitted us in. Great food! and really reasonably priced! can't wait to come back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious food, well priced, large portion sizes and good service. Our food did take a while to come to the table, which they appologised for profusely, but we were having a good time so weren't bothered about it. Would go back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tuakau Hotel is situated in the heart of Tuakau near the railway line. A classic early building which has been tastefully modernized and extended. It retains the kiwi pub vibe however due to the friendly locals. The restaurant provides lovely food at reasonable prices. The traditional Sunday roast is a must try !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I eally enjoy this bar/pub. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, never had issues with finding a park either in the car park or on the road directly outside it. The food though is a little hit and miss. Steak and chips = excellent! Shrimp cocktail = way overpriced and small. Pizzas = excellent! Dumplings = tasty but overpriced and not many of them. The staff at the bar are usually super nice and effective, couple of the guys can be a bit slow and look overwhelmed but they get there in the end. Theres a few gangstas that come in and out (it's Tuakau of course) but they are pretty quiet and just go to the pokies so don't bother anybody.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place, great atmosphere will def be back. The risotto was the best my dad had ever had (and he’s had a lot of them all over the world!) a great menu that caters for the whole family, the meals are huge and very good value. I would def recommend this restaurant and will come back and also stay in the amazing hotel above …the chef is amazing really knows his stuff?
