About Erin Marmont - Marriage Celebrant
Born and bred in Howick, Auckland, I left New Zealand in 1996 to go on my big O.E. Living in such places as: Port Douglas, Perth, Melbourne, Queenstown, London and working aboard super-yachts in the Mediterranean and Caribbean.
After working and travelling abroad for ten years I returned home to settle in Hauraki Corner / Takapuna on the North Shore ... "there's no place like home!"
My passion has always been in Events Coordination and since returning home in 2006 I successfully established myself as an Events and Promotions Manager working at The Food Shows, Parent & Child Expos, Health & Fitness Expo, Auckland Council and The Outboard Boating Club (OBC) of Auckland.
Continuing on in the events world, I joined the North Habour Club as General Manager in October 2021. A club that aligns with my own values of excellence.
All whilst juggling being a mother to my two boys, Kobi (2010) and Arlo (2012).
I became an NZ Marriage Celebrant in 2010 after Kobi was born. I have officiated over 400 weddings to-date.
I've also acted recently as a celebrant in an American Hallmark movie called 'Destination Love' out now (2022) On Demand.

She knows what she is doing, she is professional, easy to get on with, fits in well and overall makes everything personal. I would recommend Erin as a celebrant for any celebration whether it be a wedding, elopement or vow renewal, she was perfect in every way and I couldn't imagine another celebrant for our day.

Everyone kept on saying how much they loved our ceremony and where did I find Erin. Our guests were all very impressed and blown away, especially my nana.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Erin was amazing!! We first asked Erin to be our celebrant before the covid-19 outbreak in New Zealand, as we were planning to get married in 2020. When the covid-19 outbreak occurred, Erin was so lovely and understanding when we decided to postpone.
We rebooked our wedding for October 2021, which ended up being during a level 3 lockdown. We decided to still go ahead and asked Erin if she would be ok to marry us under level 3 restrictions. Erin again was amazing and made sure we had all the information required for us to get married safely.
We had a beautiful and memorable ceremony - full of laughter, happy tears and lots of love. Erin included our six guests attending in-person as well as our family and friends who joined the ceremony via Zoom.
Thank you so much for being our celebrant and making our wedding so special and memorable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had Erin for our celebrant for our February wedding, we had been communicating via email for the past few months beforehand and even though we hadnt met until the wedding day, Erin made the whole ceremony process so easy, we loved filling in the questionnare which helped tailor to who we are, our personalities and quirks, the ceremony went off without a hitch and having such a personalised ceremony put my nerves at ease standing infront of so many family and friends. We loved having her as our celebrant and definately would recommend, we couldnt have asked for better ?
