About Juliet Harper - Wedding Celebrant
I came over with my wonderful husband and 2 beautiful children from the UK to Auckland, New Zealand over 10 years ago. I became a wedding celebrant because I am a true romantic at heart. Occasions which bring people together, such as weddings, civil ceremonies, renewal of vows, same sex marriages or baby naming ceremonies are beautiful celebrations to be part of. I love my job!
I originally trained as a professional ballet dancer at an international ballet school in London, and have since worked in children's education whilst bringing up my own family. I am outgoing, trustworthy, friendly and love meeting new people, which of course is what being a celebrant is all about!
I am always professional, caring and considerate with each individual ceremony, working together with each couple to make it a truly unique, personal and special occasion. I pride myself on having an open-minded and non-judgemental outlook on life, taking each experience I am lucky enough to be involved in with a smile.
It is very important to find a celebrant who is someone you immediately feel a connection with. I am very happy to meet with you either in person or to talk on the phone. This will help to put your mind at ease in choosing the right person to conduct your ceremony. We can meet for up to 30 minutes free of charge with no further obligation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We wanted a very relaxed style wedding far away on a beautiful secluded beach in Thailand with a few family and friends, and Juliet Harper was the ideal wedding celebrant!
We didn't know where to start with the ceremony, only that we didn't want anything traditional. Juliet is a very smiley, happy person and put us at our ease. She showed us a variety of readings and vows. After we had tried to explain what we wanted to say to each other she combined our words with the vows and reading we had chosen and created the most personal ceremony. Our family and friends were encouraged to take an active part, which made it all the more special!
As well as arranging the ceremony Juliet helped us chose the best location on the beach so that people could see and hear clearly, and there was a wonderful backdrop for the photos.
It all went better than we could ever have hoped. It was so laid back that we weren't nervous and really enjoyed our special day.
All of our guests agreed that we could not have made a better choice of celebrant for our wedding. We want to do it all over again!!

We found Juliet Harper by a happy coincidence. My new wife and I are teachers and happened to teach Juliet's son. When we found out that she was a celebrant it was just supposed to be.
Juliet paid very close attention when talking to us about what we wanted and how we met and made a beautiful ceremony for us. She had plenty of suggestions for us to make the day one to remember. During the ceremony she had a very calming influence, she set the scene but didn't take over the show either.
I would recommend her to anyone looking for a celebrant and I will be forever grateful for her part in our special day.
