I had very, very long hair and needed a change. Kimmy cut it, balayaged it and tinted it to ash just like in my dreams, without damaging it at all (actually, all the opposite!).
I’m in Auckland again this week, so I came back to lighten my hair some more and fix my fringe. It’s amazing, I love it! And everyone is extremely nice and caring, in a nice relaxing setting. Perfection!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worse place to go, booked a hair appointment with kimmy for keratin treatment paid $418, after treatment i did what i was told to do , did not tie or wash my hair for 3 days, on 4th day when i washed my hair they went back to normal after washing, cant even tell if i got anything done with my hair even after paying 418 dollars. very disappointed with their service, i asked for refund but owner refuses to refund the money no value for customers, will never reccomend anyone for keratin treatment, so dont waste your money going there, find some better professionals you can trust. this was my first time and worst experience ever.
exactly my point as u said keratin treatment is about manageable, smooth and fuss free hair, i know it wont straighten my hair , my hair s not even smooth or fuss free , its gotten even worse after treatment u can see it in the photos i sent you. i dont know what she applied to my hair but its bad like really bad .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent Service from Kimmy, i forgot how beautiful my wife was before till the team at Essex Hairdressing transformed my wife into a new lady. wife has had bad previous experience with other hairdressers which i wont mention who they are, she kept changing her mind about getting a new hairstyle because of previous experience so a BIG THANK YOU TO ESSEX HAIRDRESSING for giving my wife back that confidence she had lost. Keep up the good work. MALO!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst place to do your hair. I told the hair dresser what I wanted but he never delivered and charged a bomb for it. My hair usually feels healthy after colouring but after getting it done here, it’s in the worst condition it’s ever been. The hair dresser wouldn’t shut up either. Instead of trying to understand what the client wants, ke kept talking continuously and convinced me to do what he wanted to do with my hair . I would have been happy if the results were good but was really disappointed with the outcome. Waste of money.

I've had a variety of cuts, and they grow out well.
