β β β β β Free camping for four nights. Marina public toilets. (Cannot use middle two toilets. Marina boat owners only, key required). One fresh water tap right next to the sewage disposal. Not very hygienic or nice.
Owned by Wellington City Council.
30 minute walk thought tunnel to city. Or around the bays about an hour. 4 minutes by car.

β β β β β Freedom camping but be warned, get there early!!!! We arrived at 3pm only had 3 spots left. A warden made thorough cehecks of the vehicles, toilets are 24hrs but about 150m away. The marina is picture perfect , great views and a hive of activity

β β β β β Stayed as a campervan. Place was lovely due to position to city and ease of getting supplies. Slept through the night pretty well even with the foot traffic and bikes in area. Seemed fairly safe for being in the city overnight. Price to park seemed a bit outrageous. 30$ for 24 hours.

β β β β β A really nice place to stay, with a dump station, fresh water, rubbish collection, & toilets. Well serviced twice daily. Its quite a noisy place to stay, with planes flying overhead & on the corner of two main roads. Worth it for the proximity to Lyall Bay & a bus stop to get to the city across the road.
Buy a snapper card for $10 & load it, rather than driving a motorhome through the very busy narrow streets of Welly. Plenty of spaces, but make sure to park inside the designated area to avoid a fine. Itβs well marked on the sign on the boat sheds.

β β β β β Its a car park in a city, but by the water and very convenient. The dump site nearby is good and there is fresh water and toilets on site too. Basic but nice and close to the city. Good option for those using the cook straight ferry servi es. Basic but free and plenty of parking .

β β β β β Pulled into motorhome park around 5pm . Wasn't long before the parking places were full . Got clean toilets available and rubbish bins available .
