★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was our first time camping here and we'll likely be back. A beautiful location with the estuary to swim in at high tide, Otamure beach a 5 minute drive away and Moureeses bay a 10 minute drive away. We enjoyed our stroll across the walking bridge each evening and saw lots of marine life in the estuary. The pool was an added bonus, though on our last day it turned green. Basic amenities but they all served their purpose. The fridges in the kitchen stopped working twice while i was there. I would suggest an upgrade? We camped on the far right hand side away from the fenceline by the school. This turned out to be a good choice as the school accommodation has no restriction on noise control or hours and there was heavy bass music, partying and foul language heard until 4am by the campers who were pitched there.
Clean amenities. Friendly staff. Great location. Thanks for a lovely holiday.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff member I dealt with was easy to deal with and really helpful. The location is pretty good, a short walk from the estuary. The shower block looks to have been recently upgraded, one of the best showers I've used at an equivalent campground, hot and good pressure. Our cabin was bare and basic and a little rundown. The curtains were falling off, the pots and pans were a motley collection, although the lid fitted one I used. Mobile coverage is patchy and WiFi costs. Would stay again though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Weekend I went it rained everyday. Nice spot looking at the beach. Everything you need a cafe, fish n chip shop closeby. Lovely ladies who welcomed my family in and out of the camp as we left. Do try this camp site I'm sure it looks good on a sunny day too ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've stayed here a few times in the past and I always have a great stay. The owners are really lovely and helpful, they definitely make you feel welcome. The Holiday Park is run well and the kitchen/bathrooms are always clean. Great location too, and I enjoy walking from the footbridge to Whananaki South beach. Unlike other Holiday Parks, there is no entertainment room BUT there is a swimming pool and plenty of other outdoor activities around Whananaki to keep you entertained!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved our family holiday here! Great amenities and facilities. The playground, pool and pizza oven are awesome. All shared areas like kitchen and bathrooms are clean and tidy. We used three campsites and a cabin directly next to our sites which was perfect for us. Worth the trip across the footbridge or a drive to the other beach for the surf. We will definitely be back!
