★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely awesome experience today! Lots of different climbing routes that you can do. From easy to very challenging ones. There is one for everybody! Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. They really want you to be there and want you to have a great time. I totally recommend going for the belay classes. It is a very comprehensive 30-minute class so you can enjoy the belay climbing courses. Absolutely loved this. Only thing is to make sure to come early. It gets packed very quickly and parking could be a problem.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Rock climbing place for kids and adults. The largest in NZ the kids have ahuge play area with slides and everything was a climbing wall. Its not cheap but its a great experience for the whole family. We will be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there today with my daughter and 3 other girls all aged 8 . Such an awesome place with awesome staff who are friendly and actually come across as really kind people . The two staff we dealt with were so good with the kids and the customer service was outstanding . As far as kids activities go this place is best value for money for entertainment . It does not only have a huge variety of climbing activities that are varying levels of difficulty but it has an awesome under 9 childrens play area. $20 per child and that’s for the WHOLE day - you can actually leave the venue and come back and continue to climb and play without paying extra . We left to go out for lunch and then came back so the girls could continue playing . How good is that ! The venue is clean and has everything you need. The kids loved it ! Yes it was during the week and probably much busier on weekend but it made for a perfect day for the girls . I will definitely take the kids there again !

The assistant Lisa was amazing, though is our first time there, but she makes the environment conducive for us to dwell in???.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extreme Edge has been my wife and I’s resident fitness location for the last 2 years. We love the environment, staff and character of the place. Side note, wife climbed her first lead climb on one of the “real” walls today. ???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is incredible. There is a playground when the kids get tired of climbing. It's the kind of playground I've been wanting to take my kids to for the past few years. There are lots of nooks and crannies to hide and have fun in. Since the place is mainly about rock climbing, the playground never seems to be too busy but just busy enough to be fun. The rock climbing is perfect for first timers and advanced climbers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extreme Edge Rock Climbing was excellent fun and challenging. It had been 3+ years since our last try (only 2nd time) and we had been looking forward to doing it again. The great team led us through a refresher on belaying and we were set free. I started on and easy climb and took turns with my wife doing the belaying. No one got dropped, so the refresher worked! It was a great time and their facilities and staff are excellent. Recommended.
