★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The office was closed when we arrived at 11:15am and the notice said just find a site and settle in. The site we picked was uneven both laterally and lengthways. We should have found a flat site and moved. We did our washing, then went to pay thinking we would get the special Campsaver rate of $22/night. We never realised it was a holiday weekend as when retired, every weekend is a holiday. So we had to pay full price of $42 which is way too expensive for us. If the office had have been open on arrival, we would have moved on not far away to another much cheaper camp. Then we went to have a shower and found the water flow very poor, so we had our showers in our caravan. Then at midnight, some campers decided to let noisy cracker fireworks off. Definitely not worth $42 per night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spacious, well appointed, good soundproofing, useful layout, versatile, pleasantly furnished and equipped (many motels in this price range can be really soulless). Walking distance from town, yet feels very rural. Wonderful deck space, good access and parking. Thanks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These guys are amazing! We stayed for 3 nights in the cabins, and were travelling cheap- four of us in the one room. The morning after our first night (a tad packed!), we were offered a second cabin room for free. 100% would stay here again, plus the showers were fantastic, and Fairlie is a lovely town.
