I was quite apprehensive of buying a bat from halfway across the world but I was given pictures of options to choose from and all my questions were patiently answered. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had an Angry Beast Thunder bat sent from Louisville KY (USA) to New Zealand. I saw a videos on you tube and it was immediately apparent that Fantail knows what it's doing when it comes to cricket bat repairs. The entire process was easy and I have my bat back in few weeks time.
I was concerned about the repair work changing the bat's balance and weight drastically. I am so happy with the work they did. the refurbishment is to the point without changing the bat performance. I know it must have taken some skills as the entire left bottom of the bat was gone due to a huge crack both front and back of the blade. Thanks a ton guys. You guys rock !!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dropped in just to pick up a pot of bat wax. Owner took the time to have a chat, let my ten year old pick up and get a feel for some of the bats on offer (despite us having no intention of buying). He then gave us a brief tour of the workshop where they build and repair. Very decent of him. Will be back when we are in the Market for a new piece of willow.
EDIT: we did end up coming back and buying a made to order size 5. Very happy with the bat. It's an absolute beast. Glad to see a local craftsman producing high quality willow rather than having to purchase from a big global mega Corp.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After paying nearly $120 to get my bat completely refurbished the bat has lasted me the better end of 3 innings of social cricket and it has already broken. THESE GUYS RUN A SCAM. The same time when I brought the bat in explaining the situation I hear another story of the same thing happening to someone else. Fantail Cricket does not do quality work. DO NOT USE FANTAIL CRICKET IF YOU WANT ANYTHING TO LAST.
